139-part of me
He’s with me every morning
when I pull a coffee filter out
with a rubber tipped scoop.
There when I hang my arm out of the windy car window
He’s with me everywhere
He’s with me when the stock market goes up, and
there he is again, when Tiger Woods drops one by the pin.
I look over and think, did you see that Daddy?
He’s there in the pool, holding my babies
and proudly posing by his plane, in my photo album.
He’s everywhere I go; he’s everything I do;
He’s everything I am.
He’s right here, right now, watching me
crying quietly.
